NEW Volunteer Opportunities!

Charleston County POD Managers Needed
Charleston County Emergency Management Department is looking for several people to train to be a POD Manager. What is a POD you ask? Great question! A POD or Point of Distribution is a predetermined location that will be used to distribute life sustaining commodities such as food and water to residents after a disaster has struck. Training only takes a few hours a year.

Don't want to be a POD Manager? We are also looking for people who have forklift experience or would like to learn how to operate a forklift and be a forklift operator for a POD location.
